Camera Straps Leather
Leather Camera Straps
Leather camera straps have become increasingly popular with photographers who appreciate quality craftsmanship and materials that improve with age. We specialize in handmade leather straps using two premium leather types, each with unique characteristics.
Our Leather Types
We use two main types of premium leather for our camera straps:

| Color Fastness | Color-fast (won't transfer) | May transfer initially, stabilizes over time |
| Patina Development | Develops rich, deep color | Darkens beautifully with age |
| Best For | Immediate comfort, professional use | Natural look, vintage aesthetic |

English Veg Tan Leather
Vegetable-tanned (veg tan) leather is one of the oldest forms of leather production, using natural tannins from tree bark instead of chemicals. Our veg tan leather is sourced from premium UK tanneries.
Key Features:
- Natural & undyed - Beautiful natural tan color that darkens with age
- Develops unique patina - Each strap becomes one-of-a-kind through use
- Firm initially - Requires 2-4 weeks of use to soften and mold to your body
- Environmentally friendly - Tanned using natural plant-based materials
- Accepts tooling - Can be stamped or embossed for personalization
- Ages beautifully - Darkens from natural tan to rich honey or brown tones
Note: Veg tan leather may transfer some color initially, especially in damp conditions. This is normal and will stabilize after a few weeks of use. The dye transfer washes out easily.
We use veg tan leather for select neck straps, wrist straps, belts, wallets, and card holders.
